He is a thoughtful and consultative project planner and designer and he extends his wide-ranging business knowledge to help clients overcome their unique challenges and achieve their project objectives. He’s also a very proud grandpa – just ask to see a photo!
After 15 years with our team, Marc assumes the role of Project Manager on most of our large scale projects. He is well-versed in building technology and his ability to manage complex information while coordinating many staff and consultants keeps our projects running smoothly. Marc is fluently bilingual, and is a dedicated minor hockey coach and a goalie who’s yet to acknowledge that flexibility diminishes with age.
Kam joined our firm in 2012, and is our in-house BIM specialist. Having honed his skills while working on large-scale international projects such as the September 11 Memorial Pavilion in New York, Kam contributes greatly to our CAD and technologist team. In his spare time, Kam enjoys hunting, fishing and trapping, and with skills as good as his, we fear for any deer that crosses his path. Run, Bambi, run!
Sandra is our admin support extraordinaire! She handles everything from phone calls to construction contract documentation, with a high degree of proficiency and pleasantness. If you call our office, it‘s no doubt you’ll be greeted by Sandra’s friendly voice. Sandra supports all that we do and helps keep us in line as well. She also plans some raucous office parties and is a busy (and proud) mom.
Since joining the firm nearly a decade ago, Nathan has played a leading role in project development in the office, and is valued by his clients for his thoughtful, responsible, and creative design solutions. Nathan has never met a design problem he didn‘t want to solve, and this quality has proven valuable for many clients. After work he likes to dogsled and make maple syrup in his backyard.... And say ’eh’ a lot!
Andrew has been a member of our team for over 15 years, and has distinguished himself as a great project manager and our building code, sustainability, and accessibility expert. His extensive code knowledge and attention to detail are assets valued by clients and colleagues. Andrew is always of good spirit, yet focused and he has a memory like no other, so don’t challenge him to Trivial Pursuit.
Michele has worked in our Huntsville office since 2010, and contributes greatly to all aspects of projects, from CAD drawings to Construction Administration. Her friendly personality makes her a favorite among clients, and her wide variety of experience makes her a jack-of-all-trades. You may have seen her walking her horses... er... we mean dogs, Jase and Sady. They’re big, beautiful, and Bernese.
With 30 years of experience, John is our building technology expert. He is recognized by clients, contractors, and building officials for his depth of knowledge and proficiency in carrying out complicated renovation projects, and has served the Near North District School Board for more than 15 years. John is known for his incredible work ethic and his attentive, friendly service. After work, he restores vintage cars and trucks.
Sue‘s 25 years of experience designing municipal buildings, schools, and recreation facilities is unparalleled in the Muskoka region. Her strength lies in her ability to listen and respond to clients’ needs, and she prides herself on being an ‘option provider’ by drawing upon her extensive knowledge in design and construction. We‘re also pretty sure she’d canoe to work if she could.
Brandon is our newest recruit, and is a CAD powerhouse. His attention to detail and methodical approach make him a valuable member of every project team. He contributes to a wide variety of projects in our office, from small renovations to large institutional buildings. Brandon‘s wit is as sharp as a tack. If he was a standup comedian, we’d love to be in the front row.
Jean has over 20 years of experience in North Bay and Sudbury, and is responsible for the majority of the commercial projects in our office. As one of the first OAA Licensed Technologists in Ontario, Jean manages all aspects of his projects, from proposal to occupancy, and his clients value his prompt, attentive service. Jean can often be found on stage performing some killer guitar licks. Play Freebird!
With over 20 years experience, Trudi is our construction review expert. Her thorough and detailed approach to Construction Administration and inspection ensures a quality product, and her friendly but firm communication style is appreciated by both contractors and clients. Trudi has the biggest heart in the office, and somehow knows the name of every worker (and often their dog) on a construction site.
Madge is responsible for managing the finances of our firm, including invoicing, payments, and accounts. Her skill with numbers and meticulous organization is extraordinary, and her attention to detail keeps us running like a Swiss watch. A cleaner desk you will not find! Like Paul, she’s also a proud grandparent and her resume now includes "best babysitter ever."
